Part 1. Why did you start cosplaying?

Uriboo
I was inspired when I saw the cosplay at the Dōjinshi convention of LORD of VERMILION 3 (lov3) and began momentum.
Originally I had longing for cosplay, I thought that I'd like to do, but I could not take much trouble such as which work to do and how to make it.However, I was able to resolve with my friends' pushing "Let's do it together".
I was very embarrassed to go to public with my first cosplay, but I still remember having had a lot of fun!

Part 2. What do you care about most when cosplaying?

Uriboo
I prioritize the balance of costumes suitable for my body.
When the armor is too big, or the wig spreads too much, it's often that you don't know what character.
So when wearing it looks at the mirror carefully and checks the balance while making it.

Part 3. Tips for creating props and setting wigs

Uriboo

Everyone has things they are suited or unsuited for cosplay works.Anyway, I think that it's gathering information.

Since there are ways of shaping and how to arrange wigs on Twitter, sites, etc., try aligning and processing the materials with reference to it.
First of all it's quick to imitate looking! (The same thing can be said for makeup, but it will end with a long time ...please let me skip!)

Part 4. Your best cosplay memories

Uriboo
I met my current girlfriend with my first cosplay! (sorry for bragging)
She help me with costumes mainly for clothing.
It was a miraculous encounter.

Part 5. Tell us about your future cosplay plans

Q. Who are you planning to cosplay next?

Uriboo
my next cosplay plans is Robin Hood from Fate at Winter Comic Market.
Q.Where do you usually cosplay?

Uriboo
I go to hacostadium tokyo when I'm debating.
Q. What is "cosplay" for you?

Uriboo
Until recently I thought it was "hobby" "transformation desire",
but when I told myself I thought it was "one man exhibitionn".
I wear clothes I made, occasionally watching,
wearing it watching one in a while.
I want to hit my expressiveness to many people!
I feel that is an emergence of consciousness.

Part 6. A final word

As it is also on this site, male cosplay may be "not in demand" or "boring to see".
Some people may be despised just by saying men.

However, there are many benefits such as force, muddy, physique etc. that we can only offer to men. (There are exceptions, but ...)

Still, though need some ingenuity for men's cosplayer to be on a par with women's cosplayer, if you say "But I'm a man" that people who are giving up cosplay don't have to hold such a thought!

And this was Uriboo’s showcase!

Thank you for the interview and the cosplay photo!

As he says, male cosplayers have benefits unique to men! (Of course, there are benefits that can only be given to women.)

Depending on the ingenuity, you can make works of high quality, so challenge without giving up!

You can find Uriboo’s SNS accounts below

Since he usually cosplays in Kanto area, don't hesitate to talk to him if you have the opportunity!
