Part 1. Why did you start cosplaying?

I began cosplaying in 2012 because it was an opportunity for me to make a character come true. in my country (Colombia), there are few black cosplayers, so it was a big challenge.
Fortunately, the chars that I've played have been well received, and this has given to me lots of motivation to go on, improving in every character project.

Part 2. What do you care about most when cosplaying?

For me, the most important is the attitude for acting the character, even for photos. the best suit without a good roleplaying is like an empty bottle of cologne: you could look nice physically, but the scence of the character would be missing.

Part 3. Your best cosplay memories

Every character that I have performed has given to me the opportunity to meet great friends who have cosplayed before me.
When I have had photo sessions, I've given all my best to role the characters as best as possible.
They have enhanced my proper personality and be also a better teacher.

Part 4. Tell us about your future cosplay plans

Q. Who are you planning to cosplay next?

I'd like to continue cosplaying tokusatsu characters. it's an interesting genre with a lot of fans here. Also, I will include more comics and videogames characters to my list.
Q.Where do you usually cosplay?

I cosplay for many conventions and for children charity events.
Q. What is "cosplay" for you?

For me, "cosplay" is a hobby, but is also the art of roleplaying a fictional character, creating a balanced bind between your personality and the character's one.

And this was Jormos’s showcase!

Thank you for the interview and the cosplay photo!

He also said that Jormos is a black cosplayer. There were not many black cosplayers, so it was a challenge.

But, everyone accepted Jormos' cosplay.

There are various kinds of discrimination in the world, but through this "cosplay" I felt that it would be better to break a barrier.

We will be looking forward to his future success!

You can find Jormos’s SNS accounts below.

Since he usually cosplays in Columbia, don't hesitate to talk to him if you have the opportunity!
